Media Platform

This was a multi video table media interface platform I created for Art of Culinary and their dining experience restaurant partners. This started as just a media player applet and quickly grew to include designing the hardware layout, player applet and server management.

Backend management app and servers for new content roll out, analytics and regional targeting.

Phone & Tablet App Design

I designed DrinQup's tablet and mobile user prototype apps.

Designed & Developed Data Capture Tool

I also created and deployed a data acquisition mobile app for proving (and disproving) our bias and timing real world interactions.

Augmented Reality Tactical Simulation Platform

Picture
This proof of concept prototype I built, utilized the front facing camera of conventional VR headsets. Computer vision was implemented to recognized the IR laser mark fired into the room by the training firearm. The computer vision detected and then projected each shot into the VR scene and enabled our graphics engine to impact the world appropriately.
Additionally a rough prototype AR content placement and training method was proven and further defined. The fully incorporated training firearms enabled training in immersive virtual environments and augmented environments and broke out of the limitations of traditional video wall systems.

Tactical Platform Entertainment Games

I designed and developed a series of tactical simulation game titles distributed through Ti Training and Ti Outdoors for their civilian gaming tactical sim platform. The games were so lucrative that Table Mountain Group ultimately purchased them from my company Remnant Studios.

The tactical platform is a system which utilizes mock firearms which provide a fake recoil when the gun is fired and sends a laser flash into the wall which is detected by a camera mounted near the projector. The system enables players to "click" in game by shooting.

Believe

The post-apocalyptic, science fiction, shooting game pit players against an army of clone soldiers in a race to reach a mysterious subject.

The development of this game title had some of the most unique requirements of any game title I've created utilizing all live action characters in a 3D environment.

Ti Range

Texas Star, Infinite Assault, Course Builder and Trainer modes make up this synthetic firing range.

This modular design required flexibility and a simple enough UI to enable players to build their desired course.

Raze the Bar

This western styled game incorporated three new mini game styled shooting games Bar Slide, Texan Star and Bottles Up wrapped into the western story game where you hunt for outlaws in a backwater town.

This game required blending video characters into a fully destructible 3D environment. This was a lot of fun to build.

Designed and Deployed AR Walking Tour App

Picture
Picture
I created and deployed this app for C. Loren Art and the City of Golden Colorado. This app utilized augmented reality and computer vision to identify specific art pieces and overlay dimensional animated scenes directly on the art. Users are also directed to the real world locations where each art piece can be found. This was deployed for both Android and iPhone. I also designed plaques which were posted at the artworks and included a QR code to download the mobile app.

Designed and Built - Inflatable Mobile Lighting Lab

I designed and created a mobile lighting laboratory prototype to intense specifications; blocking out 99% of external light and creating a Nolan lighting environment lab that could be shipped around the country and used for novel 3D scanning and for data acquisition and machine learning.

Designed & Set Up Office

Designed and oversaw the set up of this twelve member office in Columbia, Maryland.

3D visualized the space, created the layouts and worked with vendors to bring my designs to completion.

Patent Proofing & Visual Narrative Design

I created patent visualizations and proofed Quidient's seminal patent on scene reconstruction engines.

I quantified and clarified corporate technical narrative and worked to raise an additional million dollars in funding while there.

Quantified and Captured Test Data for Machine Learning

For our core engine development I designed processes for capturing and labeling scan data for our machine learning training.
