Disheveled Bed This is the main scan that I set out to get. It's large and doesn't fit in my turntable space. But it has plenty of details for camera alignment. I ended up getting 250 images in overcast lighting and just about everything meshed well. You can't move anything around because it is scanned as it was, but I did grab a turntable scan of a matching pillow below, so you have a tiny bit of ability to dress your scene. I absolutely love capturing real-life organic subjects like all the folds in these blankets and sheets. Just so much fun when it directly translates from the real subject. Dirty Mattress The scanning had to go outside and I was lucky enough to get good overcast lighting for these larger scans. Somehow this dirty mattress just immediately reminds me of the seedy environments in the original Max Payne game. Blue Design Pillow This turntable scan of disheveled pillow aligned great because of the design pattern across it. It's wonderful to be able to scan organic features like cloth folds.
Throw Pillow I wasn't sure I would get this scan because of the singular color of the pillow and it did get a bit dicey while building the dense point cloud (for some reason I got more data from the medium build than the high). The mesh coming out of Agisoft needed a bit of clean up, but the beautiful cloth texture came through nicely in the texture projection. I am happy with the final model for this turntable scan.
