This is the first of what I hope will be many more free Unity Assets. We've been working on a western shooting game and some specific western assets seemed a little hard to come by. I've had the fantastic experience of working with Vitaly to have these assets built for Unity and today I'm giving them away here. Bar & Cabinet This asset just didn't exist at any level of quality anywhere in the asset store, so we had it made. It's a beautiful piece of work. It is based on two different bar styles from the period. In our game we needed a bar for the drinks to slide off of, so we have broken the bar where the proprietor might enter and exit. 
 Saloon Sign, Hitching Post, Water Trough & Doors Finding older looking buildings wasn't too hard but the details of a western seem to be lacking. So what better for a western than a saloon door, hitching post and water trough. Got to throw in a good western styled sign as well. Adding wear and tear was important here.
 Broken Wagon This was just a fantastic piece of work building this overturned wagon. Although the physics demonstrated here are not a part of the asset I'm giving away, it is a great asset none the less. You see that we placed this wagon on destructible barrels. The destructible barrels are not a part of the give away but you can purchase them from Vitaly here as part of his destructible props pack.
 Saloon Bottles & Skull Here is a beautiful collection of (10)ten saloon bottle assets. Sure a shot glass, mug, jug and metal cup are not bottles, but you get the idea. The breakable assets (everything except the metal cup) have a second "pre-shattered" version of the asset so that it is easier to code up for breaking. The jugs and metal cup came directly from my 3D photoscans.
 But wait, David Terblanche was kind enough to share his Water Buffalo scan with all of us so we turned it into a Unity asset too. Sure, it's not exactly western, but it's still fun! :)
  GallowsHere it is! A beautiful gallows, built by Vitaly. We have a specific need to be able to break the rope so you will find two pieces of rope just for the purpose. One piece is for simply nicking the rope while the other is for the rope ends when it is completely severed. I hope you enjoy this awesome gallows! I know I will.
Here is the rustic and natural wood versions of my mug scan worked into Unity assets! Vitaly's work is awesome and so much fun. I know you are going to enjoy these. They are not just western, they could pass for fantasy too! :) Rustic Mug
